Welcome to Community Outreach Developing Programs

Why We Exist

Children are our future. At Community Outreach Developing Programs, we are committed to meeting the needs of our community by focusing on its most valuable asset, our youth and young adults. We serve disadvantaged and at-risk youth and young adults of all backgrounds, especially those facing challenges at home, in school, or their community. Our programs are designed to guide them toward a better future through mentorship, education, family support, and community engagement.

“Empowering Youth & Young Adults. Strengthening Families. Building Communities.”

Our Mission

To establish a community dedicated to enhancing the lives of our youth & young adults in a resourceful, healthy, fun, and safe environment.

Our Vision

To build a thriving, healthy community by offering activities and opportunities that support spiritual, social, and personal growth while cultivating positive relationships.

Our Ongoing Programs

We’re proud to offer meaningful, transformative programs that meet the real needs of our community:

Dream Maker Transport (DMT): Originally the name of our organization over a decade ago, Dream Maker Transport has grown into a standalone mentoring and community outreach initiative. DMT focuses on youth and young adult development, prevention education, and creating spaces for dialogue, expression, and growth.

Aim4Excellence: A work-based training program that prepares youth and young adults for the workforce through practical skill-building, job readiness, and career exposure. AIM4Excellence bridges the gap between education and employment, helping participants aim higher—and achieve more.

How We Work

We don’t just run programs we build people. Our approach includes, assessing needs through collaboration with parents and guardians, creating personalized action plans tailored to each youth and young adult, partnering with other programs to provide wraparound support, and promoting prevention and education in key areas like:

       ○ Community Outreach

       ○ Sexual Abstinence

       ○ Drug & Alcohol Abuse

       ○ Teen Pregnancy

       ○ Crime & Consequences

       ○ Delinquency Prevention

Our Belief

It’s easier to build strong children than to repair broken adults. Programs alone don’t change lives—people do. We believe that one-on-one mentoring is the key to lasting transformation. When caring adults consistently show up, build trust, and offer guidance, youth & young adults begin to make better choices and develop a strong sense of self-worth.
